Strong industry support as Automechanika Ho Chi Minh City 2020 sets new show date
To safeguard both public health and business development throughout the automotive industry in the midst of the global COVID-19 outbreak, organisers of Automechanika Ho Chi Minh City had announced in February to reschedule the 2020 show edition. After a careful assessment of the situation, the show will now take place from 20 to 22 August at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC). This Vietnam’s leading trade fair for the automotive service industry will heighten government incentives to speed up the localisation and growth of the domestic auto industry. The fair expects 360 local and overseas exhibitors showcasing the latest products, services and technologies.
Messe Frankfurt’s upcoming Automechanika Ho Chi Minh City and Auto Maintenance & Repair Expo to be rescheduled
Messe Frankfurt has announced that two of the company’s Mobility & Logistics fairs in Asia have been postponed in the wake of the recent Novel Coronavirus outbreak. The two events include Automechanika Ho Chi Minh City (AMHCMC) and the Auto Maintenance and Repair Expo (AMR), which were originally scheduled from 5 to 7 March 2020 in Ho Chi Minh City and 15 to 18 March 2020 in Beijing respectively.

From 5 to 7 March 2020, Automechanika Ho Chi Minh City is set to bring in more business-focused, workshop-packed and experience-oriented opportunities to the Vietnam automotive market. Fairgoers can also gain insight into a Vietnamese automotive lifestyle and culture by engaging with captivating and unparalleled fringe programme events tailored for the local auto community.
Automechanika Ho Chi Minh City 2020 embraces the rising made-in-Vietnam automotive market
Steering into its fourth edition, Automechanika Ho Chi Minh City (AMHCMC) will rally a comprehensive automotive supply chain community for the OE (original equipment) and aftermarket by introducing the new automotive manufacturing & automation segment. The community will help drive the Vietnam automotive industry towards localisation, industrialisation and modernisation by promoting made-in-Vietnam brands. 390 international and domestic exhibitors will gather across 10,200 sqm of the exhibition floor at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) from 5 to 7 March 2020.
Automechanika Ho Chi Minh City 2019 replied to the local commercial and passenger vehicle sectors
Now in its third edition of the show, Automechanika Ho Chi Minh City continued to cement its position as one of the region’s leading trade fairs for the automotive service industry. The exhibition took place from 28 February to 2 March and shone a light on Vietnam’s dynamic service sector and many of the region’s automotive trends. Participants praised the fair’s extensive focus on the commercial vehicle sector, as well as the fun and informative fringe programme events that took place over the three-day show.
